My name is Wambi. Wambi Bookwyrm. I have two big brothers who are kind of grumpy and a big sister who is super shy. She almost never talks. My mom says I like to talk—a lot. I also like books.

Books are by far my favorite thing in the world!

Since I’m a dragon, I have to stay hidden most of the time. (Mom says it’s because the world isn’t ready for dragons yet. My brothers say it’s because humans are scared we’ll eat them. I think that’s silly!)

That’s why I’m writing here. It gets lonely having to hide and move around all the time. All I really want are friends. I think that’s why I like books so much. When I read, I get to learn all about different people and different places and different things. That way when the world is ready for dragons again, I’ll be ready to meet you, too!
